Yes, we know, you’ve been to Bali more times than you can throw a coin and have spent countless days running around the beaches, not to mention numerous weddings, hens and bucks parties, family trips and general I-need-to-get-the-hell-out-from –the office -it’s-weekend - anyway.
Taking a 2 days getaway to Bali is possible these days with so many affordable flights. But every now and then, it’s nice to have a long, totally luxurious, pamper-filled, indulgent and relaxing weekend in Bali’s super cool neighborhood of Seminyak.
We did the tough research to bring you the bling things from the Island of the Gods. Here’s how to have a total luxurious weekend in Seminyak.

FRIDAY NIGHT
Check in to one villa-hotels hidden behind high walls for those who prefer privacy. There are no other quintessential ways to start a weekend in Seminyak than a walk along the beach followed by sundowners on the sand. Seminyak’s beach offers some of Bali’s best sunset watching spots. Begin with an icy beer slowly sipped from a bean bag at La Plancha, continue with dinner and have a good rest on your private villa.

SATURDAY:
Morning: Sunrise Horseback Riding
Get your morning off with one-of- a- kind experience. Enjoy and turn your dream into reality this weekend by riding horse in Bali and watch the amazing view on horseback, it is truly a relaxing and majestic hobby. Plenty of tour operators in Seminya offers this service, where you can ride through rice fields, sand dunes, along the beach shores and best; you can chose the time, and your own track.

The night is still young, it’s weekend after all, so include nightlife on your travel plans: Kuta might be the party town but Seminyak has all the class. One of popular club for having European-style electronic music from the resident and guest DJs is the chic and underground, Jenja on Jalan Nakula. Located in the basement of the Town Square Suites, this nightclub is very popular amongst socialites and cosmopolites, The Foyer at Jenja has six lounge areas and a VIP section and will be crowded with dance-goers after 1AM.

Morning: Seminyak Sunday Brunch
The best thing you can do on Sunday after a wild party is absolutely do nothing all day except being lazy but you’ve got to eat at some point. Lucky for you, Seminyak has some decadent -worth to get out of bed - Sunday spread. One of the closest Sunday Brunch restaurant near Royal Tunjung Private Villa is Azul Bali, this iconic bamboo structure located inside the luxurious restaurant at Bali Mandira at Padma Street Legian.  The Sunday BBQ Brunch starts at 12 noon and ends at 4pm, offers all the best flavors of Bali from red meats to fresh local seafood to a salad bar, after the meal, take a refreshing dip in the oceanfront infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Daylight: Shopping in Seminyak
Seminyak has always known for a shopping paradise where trove of designer boutiques, international surf shops and lifestyle brand outlets located. The main road of Basangkasa Street is where most of the smaller shops located, while fashionable boutiques and quirky small shop can be found along Oberoi street and corners of Jalan Petitenget. So ladies, feel free to arrive with empty suitcases and a strong legs, and let’s do some serious shopping business!

A trip to traditional market are definitely worth a visit, these markets are a fantastic place to experience local Indonesian goods and food for a good price who knows you might eventually buy something.
There are plenty of traditional markets in Bali, the following lists are only a few of traditional markets near your private villa has to offer and the best thing is some of these markets are open all night long.

1.     Taman Sari Market, Kerobokan Seminyak
Looking for a one of very few of unique local markets around the Seminyak area? Then, Taman Sari Market in Kerobakan is your answer. This local market serves as a perfect place for a quick stop for those looking for fresh tropical fruits at bargain prices and within easy reach from your private villas and resorts.
You won’t missed the Taman Sari Market with most of the fruit displays lining the market’s street-side façade, the front row fruit stalls sell fruits in kilogram but this is where your bargain skill took place, you can bargain and even buy fruit in one piece. Inside the main building you’ll find more stalls selling daily local necessities. Craving for local taste? Wait until the sun goes down, as the market food carts starts selling with tons of local’s tasty treats and takes on a local night market scene.

2.      Kuta Art Market
By the name and location itself, Kuta art market might be the most touristic and popular market in South Bali. If you only want to have a relaxing vacation on your private villa and don’t plan on traveling around much then this market is worth a visit! The market is located very convenient and close to Kuta Square and the beach and makes it the perfect place to shop locally crafted goods and souvenirs to bring home.
Most of the items sold here are similar to the goods at the art markets of Ubud and Sukawati, however the price might a bit higher therefor bargaining skills will play an important role on your shopping here. Quick tips: try to act polite and friendly with shopkeepers and make sure you check the quantity and quality before paying.

3.      Badung Market and Kumbasari Art Market
Located on Gajah Mada Street, at the center of Bali’s province, Badung Market is a widely-known as a center of city’s economy and the largest traditional market in Denpasar City. Badung Market is where locals from all over Bali offer their wares, poultry, comprising fresh fruits, meat and groceries, open since 05.00 am around the clock.
For those whose looking for local’s art goods or souvenirs to bring back home, cross over the small bridge to Kumbasari and find your treasure. Kumbasari Market is open at 02.00 pm and closed at 11.30 pm. Name of “Pasar Sengol” in local tongue is taken from the unique experience of the buyer movements where they touched each other shoulders through small-sized stalls and impromptu vendors in this market, maundering around can be fun, but it can also be dizzying with the cramped stalls and narrow spacing hence the name ‘bump market’.
